Blog Buddies

Blog Buddies:

Nowadays blogs are the new way of expressing yourself instead of the old fashioned way of writing in a diary or journal, or binder paper if that’s all you had! Technology has become so vast that it can touch even the most remote of places. The internet has made information available quickly and if you can say “immediately”. Blogs are a way people have taken advantage of this. They use the internet to express their views, share family and friends photos, update statuses and maybe even run a business. I follow many, many blogs but only a  select few food blogs. There are millions of food blogs out there! Find the ones that really fit your need and desire. I follow many more food blogs than I have listed below, but the ones below are of particular interest to me. I am not a huge vegetarian cooker. I do attempt cooking vegetarian dishes, but these two are particularly great at it. I  take the recipes they post and tweak them to my liking. Sometimes convert them into a dish “meat lovers” would like to make. Of course, most meat dishes can be made vegetarian as well. Substitute the meat with tofu or soy or a veggie. Below are a few blogs I follow and recommend!

“I’m a chef, inventor and a passionate foodie. This website comes as an extension of all of those passions and addresses my specialty: Vegetarian Cooking!

I’ve been experimenting with cooking since I was a child, always putting a spin on classic dishes and inventing many of my own. My style has always been a mash up of global and Indian cooking, local and exotic ingredients, and a dedication to flavor and health consciousness.

I am a cook! I have never taken professional cooking lessons or gone to culinary school. I’ve watched my mom, Thayee Ji, Nani, Pops, and MomJi have fun in the kitchen. One day, I hope my grandchildren will come to me, like I do to Nani, and ask me to teach them family secrets.
