Mini Banana Pudding Dessert Shooters

Who doesn’t LOVE Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies? If you have not tried them, you MUST!

Growing up, they were one of my most favorite cookies! Every time I would go to grandma’s house, there would be a box of Pepperidge farm assorted cookies! I would always go for the Bordeaux and Chessman cookies.

Adding these crumbs to anything just magnifies the satisfaction of eat bite.

Mini Banana Pudding Dessert Shooters

Servings: 35-40 Shooters

Total Time: 1 hour – Chill Overnight

Ingredients:

1 container Frozen Whipped Topping (thawed)

1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 box Cream Cheese (8-ounce package, softened)

2 cups Milk

1 box French Vanilla Pudding (5-ounce box, instant)

3 Bananas (sliced) – Use less if you don’t like too much banana flavor

1 bag Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies

2-3 bags Pepperidge Farm MINI Chessmen cookies for topping

1 bag Chocolate Chips (white or dark)

Shooter Glasses – However many you need

Directions:

Preparing the shot glasses:

Take the bag of Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies and crush them to crumbs using a rolling pin

Melt white or dark chocolate and dip the rim of the glass just enough so once dipped into the cookie crumbs, they will stick

Once finished dipping the rims into the chocolate and cookie crumbs, take the remaining crumbs and line the bottom of each shooter glass evenly. (set aside enough to finish the topping with)

Preparing Pudding:

In a mixing bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer (Set aside)

Using a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together with a whisk or, a much easier method, a mixer. Mix until it is smooth

Then fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture

Add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture and stir until well blended

Pour the mixture into a gallon size ziploc bag and snip off a small corner to easily fill each shot glass. (Note: Have the shooters ready and be careful not to snip off too much of the corner of the bag, it will pour out too fast. – Recommend the double-zip lock)

Fill each shooter glass halfway with the mixture

Finishing Touches:

Put one slice of banana in each shooter. Then cover the banana slice with small sprinkling of Crushed Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies (if any left, otherwise skip the next step)

Add another layer of banana pudding. Be sure to leave room for more cookie crumbs. Then place a Mini Chessmen Cookie for decoration. Sprinkle more cookie crumbs to cover the rest of the pudding that is showing.

Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
